Police in Boston released the names of two El Pasoans who were killed in a shuttle bus crash Wednesday morning.

According to state police in Boston, the crash happened around 1:15 Wednesday morning.
A vehicle was exiting the highway and rear-ended a Hampton Inn shuttle bus that was taking passengers to Logan International Airport.

59-year-old Joseph A. Rodriguez and 47-year-old Sandra L. Arreola of El Paso were killed in the crash.
A 57-year-old unidentified woman who is also from El Paso was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that caused the accident is also in the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The shuttle reportedly had seat belts, but it isn’t clear if passengers were using them.
Police in Boston are continuing to investigate the crash and and have not said if criminal charges will be sought against the driver of the vehicle who caused the crash.
The family of the two El Pasoans who were killed have set up a GoFund Me account to help raise money to bring the bodies back to El Paso.
