1st Annual El Paso Veteran Food Pantry Dash 5k Run & Walk
Everyone is invited to the 1st Annual El Paso Veteran Food Pantry Dash 5K run and walk benefiting the El Paso Veteran Food Pantry on June 20, 2015.
El Paso Veteran Food Pantry will be conducting a bucket drop during the packet pickup the day of the race. The funds raised during the bucket drop will go directly to the El Paso Veteran Food Pantry. The El Paso Veteran Food Pantry has established a relationship with local vendors enabling them to purchase a pound of food for only fifteen cents.
The El Paso Food Pantry will also be accepting can food donations at their location during packet pick up as well.
The race will take place at Ascarate Park on June 20 at 8 a.m. Pre-race vendors and informational booths will be open at 7:15 a.m.
Raffle tickets will also be sold for a $1 with all proceeds go directly to The Veteran Food Pantry. Prizes include gift cards and baskets to Massage Envy and Cane’s Chicken Fingers and Dell Computers.
Refreshments will be served and an awards ceremony along with an El Paso Food Pantry guest speaker and donation check presentation will take place post-race, around 8:45 a.m.

- After June 16, 2015 = $30
(Cash or credit card only accepted at Packet Pickup or Day of Event) No Refunds: Race will happen shine, rain, or dust storm
Awards:
- Trophies will be presented for top three Male and Female Finishers
- Refreshments to be provided for participants at the finish line.
