Single on Valentine’s Day? No worries, here are ten awesome things you can do to celebrate yourself and loved ones.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be a depressing day for single people. There are a ton of things you can do to celebrate even though you may be single in the city. You may be single and ready to mingle but if there are no romantic prospects on your radar you can show the love for yourself, friends, family members, and even co-workers instead.

Here are but a few ideas you can try out:

See A Concert

Willie Nelson will be performing at the Plaza Theatre on February 14, 2019. So what if you don’t have a romantic date. Invite a friend and make a date night out to see Willie on tour.

Singles Dinner Party

Invite your closest single friends and make dinner (or get it catered) and spend the night laughing and having a fabulous dinner.

Catch A Movie

Get a few of your single friends and go to the movies. You can pair up single female and male friends and go watch a movie at your local movie theatre.

Visit A Relative

Focusing on others is the best way to get over a lot of things, including not focusing on having a date for Valentine’s Day. This may just be the perfect time to visit elderly family members and brighten their day by taking them some flowers, chocolates or a gift.

Treat Yourself

Take this day as an opportunity to love on yourself and treat yourself to a day at the spa, a relaxing massage or a simple blowout.

Workout

Stay focused and make it a point to go to the gym or go for a walk after work and continue to work on yourself – you are completely worth it.

Binge Watch TV

So many TV shows that you’ve been planning on binging – take this night to catch up on your favorite television series.

Retail Therapy

Go out a buy yourself something fabulous, from a beautiful pair of earrings to a sharp looking outfit, go on spoil yourself, you are totally worth it.

Treat a Loved One

Take this day and send flowers or candy to your mom or dad or both or maybe your best friend and tell them how much you love and appreciate them.

Go Out

Last but not least, you can go out solo or call on your single friends and head out to happy hour somewhere and enjoy a night out with the gang. Who knows you may just meet someone whose single too.
